Bull sharks prefer shallow and warm ocean water. They are sometimes found in fresh water! Bull sharks got their name from their aggressive behavior. Bull sharks move sluggishly, but can move quickly when there is food to catch. Bull shark pups are born near coasts in shallow water. This keeps them safe from larger predators. Once they have grown, they move to deeper water.
